The video, obtained from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit in response to congressional requests, sheds light on critical aspects of the incident.

The footage documents discussions among officials who had observed Thomas Crooks before the unfolding of the incident. It also records Beaver County and USSS (United States Secret Service) officers gathering information and reconstructing the timeline leading up to the shooter's attempt against Trump.

Grassley has highlighted that the video supports assertions that local law enforcement had prior knowledge of the shooter's presence before he was seen on the roof. Moreover, it reveals that local law enforcement shared photographs with the USSS, prompting scrutiny into the timing of these communications.

Furthermore, Grassley emphasized concerns raised by the footage, including law enforcement losing track of the suspected shooter and subsequently requesting drone assistance to secure a water tower post-incident.
