18 killed, one injured as plane crashes in Kathmandu during take off
18 bodies of passengers and crew have been recovered after a plane crashed on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Saurya Airlines airplane Captain Mr. Manish Shakya was rescued and is under treatment at a hospital. The aircraft “crashed during takeoff” at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). The plane was flying to Pokhara in central Nepal with 19 people including crew members.
