Boy emerges unscathed after running through glass panel mistaking it for open door
This is the moment a boy emerges unharmed after running straight through a glass panel that he mistook for an open door without even flinching.
The boy was reportedly visiting his cousin's home in the city of Ji'an, in Jiangxi, China, when the accident occurred.
Both children were tasked with taking out the rubbish on the evening of July 11, and they obediently ran out to complete the chore.
As they hurried back, he saw his cousin run through the open door and followed along.
However, he confused a glass panel for the entrance and collided with it, causing the glass to shatter and scatter shards across the floor.
Bafflingly, he continued running as if he barely felt anything when he smashed through the glass.
Local media later reported he did sustain some scratches but did not have any other injuries.
A quick hospital visit confirmed that the boy was luckily fine.
Following the incident, the property management reviewed surveillance footage, confirming the incident was caused by the boy.
Subsequently, they approached the boy's mother, named Ms. Liu, requesting compensation for the broken glass.
While Ms Liu did recognize her son was partially at fault for breaking it, she noted that property managers were also to blame for not placing any warning signs at the entrance.
She added that had her son suffered significant injuries, the property management would have been held substantially responsible.
Ms Liu also said that if they keep pushing for compensation, she would take the matter to court.
