A passenger at a railway station in southern India’s Telangana narrowly escaped a tragic accident thanks to the combined bravery of a fellow commuter and RPF Head Constable Ramesh Das.


The incident took place at Vikarabad Junction located in Vikarabad, a town in the Vikarabad district on July 24.


Visuals showed as the train began to move, a man trying to board lost his balance and was about to fall. In a split second, a fellow passenger grabbed his hand, holding on tightly. RPF Constable swiftly arrived, securing the man and pulling him to safety, saving his life in the dramatic moment at Vikarabad Junction.


In a remarkable display of courage and quick thinking, a passenger at Vikarabad Station was saved from a potentially fatal fall on the tracks. The incident occurred when the passenger lost their footing and began to slip dangerously close to the edge. Another passenger, witnessing the perilous situation, acted swiftly and held onto the falling individual with all their might.


Simultaneously, RPF Head Constable Ramesh Das, who was on duty nearby, sprang into action. With a coordinated effort, Das reached the struggling passengers and managed to pull both to safety. The heroic actions of the fellow commuter and Das were met with applause from onlookers, who praised their bravery and quick response.


The saved passenger expressed immense gratitude to their rescuer and Head Constable Das. This incident highlights the importance of vigilance and the readiness to help others in times of need.
