Uzbekistan will face an extreme heatwave in the coming days, according to the country's Agency of Hydrometeorological Services.
The agency issued an urgent bulletin predicting hot weather throughout the country from July 25 to 29.
"During the daytime, air temperatures in most parts of the republic will rise to 40-43 degrees Celsius, and in the southern and desert regions to 44-45 degrees Celsius," the report said.
