A kind driver stopped his car to help a pensioner who fell off his bike in the rain.

Sarawut Wannadet was travelling during bad weather when he saw an 84-year-old cyclist crash on the slippery road as he pedalled to a health centre.

Footage shows Sarawut checking on the old man if he was hurt. He held an umbrella over his head while assisting him.

The good Samaritan then took the man to a hospital so he could get help from medics.

He said: ‘The health centre was two kilometres away from where he lives. The grandfather told me he has to see the doctor every week and it takes him three hours on his bicycle.

‘I felt sorry for him because he was all alone and had no children or grandchildren who could help.'
