Truck decorated with Hello Kitty theme drives through port
A female truck driver impressed onlookers when she drove her Hello Kitty-themed lorry through a port in the Philippines.
Footage shows the colourful six-wheeler coming out of Maasin Port in Leyte province on July 16.
The woman sounded the vehicle's horn as she was greeted by amused locals who captured video of the adorable truck.
It had large Hello Kitty decals, with the front painted soft pink and other cute stickers.
Passerby Benjie Bacala said: ‘It was the only Hello Kitty truck I have seen so far. Most of the trucks in the port have manly designs.'
Hello Kitty is a fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio. She was created by Yuko Shimizu and first appeared on a vinyl coin purse in Japan in 1974. Hello Kitty is depicted as a white cat with a red bow and no visible mouth.
