This is the moment a woman almost choked after she accidentally swallowed - a throat spray nozzle.

Sora Wyatt, 22, had been suffering sore throat and asked her friend Logan Thumm, 23, to help her apply some throat spray.

But what seemingly appeared to be simple task, almost turned into disaster when Sora swallowed the nozzle.

Video filmed on June 18 in Romania shows Logan - off-screen - holding the throat spray and attempting to shoot some of medication into the back of Sora's throat.

But on the second attempt, the nozzle shot right to the back of Sora's throat and she swallowed it without thinking.

Sora, a graduate student from Colorado, USA said: "I was scared to use the spray because I had never been able to successfully do it myself."

"I always ended up throwing up or getting too nervous."

"I ended up going to the hospital a day later and they told me I would be fine and it would pass in a few days."

"I did successfully and painlessly pass it the next morning."
