Having been extinguished in the past week, land and forest fires in the Muaro Jambi district, Jambi province, Indonesia, occurred again on Friday, July 26 to July 27 2024.

The size of the fire and the lack of water at the source of the location became obstacles for officers when extinguishing it.

In the video, it can be seen today, July 27 2024, at 11.00 West Indonesia Time (WIB) local time, the fire is still burning and burning land and forests covering an area of approximately 20 hectares.

"The hotspots prone to forest and land fires include 17 posts in East Tanjung Jabung Regency (Tanjabtim), 14 posts in West Tanjung Jabung (Tanjabbar), 14 posts in Muaro Jambi, and several other posts in Batanghari, Sarolangun and Tebo Regencies. "A total of 668 personnel will be deployed to extinguish the fire," said Rachmad, Daily Acting Commander of the Forest and Fire Handling Task Force in Jambi Province.
