United States: Highland Fire Burns Home and Car
Los Angeles, United States - July 26, 2024
07/26/2024 01:17 pm (GMT-0800) | HIGHLAND, Calif. – At approximately 1:47 p.m., the San Bernardino County Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire located on Orange Knoll Avenue in the city of Highland. Upon arrival, a single-story garage as well as one room in the house were fully involved in flames. However, firefighters were able to make the offensive call to dispatch fairly quickly. Forward progress is now stopped. Per the Battalion Chief, arson may play a role in the start of this fire.
As a result of the fire, the homeowner's car was also engulfed in flames and destroyed as well.
The start of the fire is still under investigation.
