07/27/2024 12:00 am (GMT-0700) | Kern County – The Borel Fire, which started on July 24 at 1:11 PM, has burned over 32,000 acres. The fire continues to grow, destroying multiple homes and vehicles in the town of Havilah. Evacuation orders and road closures remain in still in effect. Firefighters are working to contain the blaze amid challenging conditions.
