STORYLINE:

Despite the war and conflict Iraq had experienced, Iraqi swimmer Hasan Ali Khaleel Al-Zinkee has continued to train hard and pursue his Olympic dream.
   
He is very excited to have qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and looks forward to achieving good results.

"Despite the war conditions that the country has been through, we, as athletes in general and swimmers in particular, continue our training diligently to represent Iraq in international tournaments and raise its flag high.
When I was announced that I had qualified for the Paris Olympics, I was delighted because this is the dream of every athlete, and I thought that this is the result of the support of my family and my coach, and I was very happy.
My message to the children of Iraq who dream of becoming Olympic champions is to be committed to training, and following the coach's words. That is what makes you a professional player."
