United States: Santa Clarita Driver Ejected and Killed in Crash

07/27/2024 05:45 pm (GMT-0700) | SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – At least one person was ejected and killed in a crash in Soledad Canyon, east of Santa Clarita city limits Saturday afternoon.

The crash was reported to 911 operators at 5:45 p.m. on Soledad Canyon Road near mile marker 15.07, east of Agua Dulce Canyon Road in unincorporated Los Angeles County.

Los Angeles County Fire Station 132 arrived on scene with Paramedic Squad 107 and AMR and subsequently pronounced the ejected party dead shortly before 6 p.m.

CHP Newhall requested the county medical examiner to respond at 6:08 p.m.

The cause of the crash, which involved an older passenger van colliding into a hillside, remains under investigation at this time.
