STORYLINE:
A new international freight train route connecting Shijiazhuang, capital of north China's Hebei Province, with Baku, Azerbaijan's capital city, was put into operation on Saturday.
The train running on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route is carrying a total of 110 standard containers stuffed with goods including mechanical equipment and wallpapers.
It will travel a distance of up to 7,800 kilometers. Part of the goods will be delivered to Georgia, Türkiye, Bulgaria and other countries.
