This is the moment a shocked pedicurist faced one of the biggest challenges of her life when she discovered a customer's 'miniature' toenails were so tiny there was barely anything to work with.

The beauty salon worker, in Jilin Province, China, said she has over a decade of experience.

But in those 10 years, she admitted she has never seen nails as small as those of the female customer seen in this video taken on July 9.

As soon as she walked in, the woman reportedly warned her about the challenge. Confident in her skills, the pedicurist replied that she could work with nails of any size.

But even she was stunned when the woman removed her socks to reveal what looked like tiny sesame seeds on her toes but were actually her tiny toenails covered in black polish.

Despite the common belief that having shorter nails would make the pedicure procedure easier, the professional explained that the job includes more than just polishing nails.

Even with the tiny nail space, choosing the right colours and adding embellishments are necessary to satisfy the customer.

Although she was eventually able to pull it off, the pedicurist admitted it was the toughest task she ever encountered in her profession.
