In a peculiar incident in Nanyang, Henan, a resident discovered a snake lurking inside their home, prompting a frantic call to emergency services. The resident, fearing to confront the reptile alone, sought assistance from the local fire department.

Responding swiftly to the scene, firefighters meticulously searched the premises, intrigued by faint sounds resembling the sliding of beads on an abacus. Following the sound to a cabinet, they discovered the snake coiled comfortably atop the ancient counting device.

With expert precision, firefighters carefully captured the snake and safely removed it along with the abacus, securing both in a bag for relocation.
