A new female prehensile-tailed porcupette has recently been introduced at the Milwaukee County Zoo.

Born on June 4 to parents Quinn and Seamus, the newborn porcupine is their fifth offspring.

Determining a porcupine's sex is a meticulous process, as they lack external genitalia.

Visitors are invited to meet this new addition in the Nocturnal section of the Small Mammals building at the zoo.
