On July 28, a severe landslide struck Yuelin Village, Shouyue Township, Nanyue District, Hengyang, Hunan Province, resulting in the destruction of a guesthouse and multiple casualties. According to the latest reports, the disaster claimed 15 lives and left 6 injured.

The landslide occurred at 8:18 AM, triggered by heavy rains from typhoon Gaemi.
