Hayley and his Jack Russell Terrier, Zip, were pumped for their walk.

Leash in hand,he stood buzzing with excitement by the front door.

The moment Hayley opened it, a mischievous glint flickered in Zip's eyes.

Before Hayley could react, the little dog darted out, a tiny furry missile aimed straight for a much larger canine strolling by with its owner.

In a split second, Zip's bravado turned to pure panic.

The giant dog, unfazed by the tiny challenger, barely noticed the fleeting blur that was Zip.

Realizing her mistake, Zip tucked tail and sprinted back to Hayley, seeking refuge behind her legs with a sheepish grin, as if to say, "Maybe that walk can wait a bit?"
