On July 8, 2024, @pariscampbellgrace shared a video from Kleine-Gartmanplantsoen park in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where forty life-size monitor lizards, agamas, and iguanas appear to crawl through the grass and flowerbeds or sit motionless among bikes and mopeds chained to the park's perimeter. The reptiles, which @pariscampbellgrace initially thought were real, turned out to be brass sculptures created by Hans van Houwelingen in 1994. These sculptures represent adaptability in the ever-changing part of town near the bustling Leidseplein square.
