Two cows fell into a drain near a college hostel in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place in Shahdol district on July 28.

Visuals showed the rescuers struggling with ropes to pull the cows out of the drain, highlighting the difficulty and danger involved in the operation.

The incident caused concern among local residents, prompting immediate calls for help.

Thanks to the swift action of local volunteers and animal welfare activists, the cows were safely rescued. Speaking to Newslions Media, Atal Kamdhenu Gausewa Sansthan's Gaurav Radhi Mishra mentioned that the rescue team included Prakash Sen, Avneesh Dubey, Amar Soni, and Shivam Mishra, and their combined efforts ensured the animals' safety.

The community's response highlights the importance of swift action and teamwork in rescuing animals in distress. The cows are now safe, thanks to the dedication and quick thinking of the rescuers.
