Sometimes the most ordinary tasks can take a wild turn. Carmen Serrano was relaxing at home when her mom asked her to check the windows to see if they needed a fresh coat of paint. Though Carmen wasn’t too thrilled about the task, she decided to do her best and pushed one of the windows open.

To her shock, a whole bunch of bats came flying out from behind the window, startling her so much that she let out a scream. The unexpected encounter took place on July 12, 2024.
