This is the adorable moment a lion cub showed off its tiny roar in response to his mum telling him off.

Monica and Daniel Leli were on a safari through Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, in June they came across a mum and her young.

Cute footage shows the lioness paw at one of her cub’s heads clearly telling it off, to which her youngster let out a barely audible roar.

As the family walked past Monica’s vehicle, the three-month-old continued to show its displeasure with its mini objections.

Monica, from Long Island, New York, USA, said: “This was our first safari. We feel absolutely blessed to have had such incredible moments on our first go around.

“This was the youngest cub we have seen try to roar. When a full grown lion roars you can feel it throughout your entire body, in awe of their power.

“It felt sweet to watch the cub try his roar with such a small noise in his first attempts, knowing the magnitude of how it would soon grow.

“The lioness seemed much more used to the visitors and walked across the road and next to the vehicles, seemingly unphased, as she was guiding and guarding her cubs.”
