Unruly passenger smashes bus windows in violent outburst in southern China

On the afternoon of July 26, a shocking violent incident occurred on a bus in Zhangmao Township, Shan County, Sanmenxia, Henan Province. A male passenger, enraged after a verbal altercation with the driver, lost control and violently kicked the driver's compartment multiple times.

According to eyewitnesses, the man initially kicked the door of the driver's compartment five times, each kick resonating with a loud bang and leaving the driver visibly distressed. Despite attempts by fellow passengers to calm him down, the man persisted. After a brief pause, he resumed his attack, delivering two more kicks, bringing the total to seven. The situation escalated further when the man, in a fit of rage, shattered the side and rear windows of the bus, leaving the interior in disarray. Some passengers were injured by flying glass shards.

Fortunately, the injuries were not severe, and those affected were treated and released from the hospital the same evening.

Following the incident, local police swiftly launched an investigation. A representative from the Zhangmao Police Station confirmed that the case was officially filed for investigation on the night of July 26. Authorities are actively pursuing the suspect, aiming to bring him to justice and ensure public safety and justice.
