On July 29, in Zhanjiang, southern China, a restaurant faced an unexpected flood following heavy rains that left streets waterlogged. The restaurant's owner had tightly shut the glass doors to keep the floodwaters at bay. However, as a car passed by, it pushed the street's accumulated water towards the restaurant, creating a wave that shattered the glass door and sent water rushing inside.

The force of the water was so strong that it overturned tables and chairs inside the establishment. Fortunately, the restaurant owner had turned away just in time, avoiding any potential injury. Despite the dramatic flooding and damage to the interior, no casualties were reported.

The video was provided with permission from local media.
