A tree snake slithered on the windshield as the car drove along a road in Thailand.

Footage shows the 3ft-long green reptile searching for a way inside the moving vehicle while the driver inside thinks of what to do in Surin province on July 23.

Motorist Santipab Chernram, 45, said he slowed down and looked for a spot to safely pull over as the snake was thin and could find a small hole to enter through.

He said: ‘I live in Buriram and was hired to deliver advertisement boards. I believe the snake might have come from my house and stayed in the engine compartment.

‘I parked under a tree in front of my house before leaving. I saw the snake while I was on the road.'

Upon pulling over, he released the snake into a bush by the roadside.
