United States: San Fernando CHP Pursuit of Wrong Way Freeway Driver

07/30/2024 03:03 am (GMT-0700) | SAN FERNANDO, Calif. – LAPD requested an airship to assist with a reckless driver near the 210 Freeway. When the airship arrived, the driver had already gone the wrong way, traveling from Wheatland Avenue to Maclay Street at speeds exceeding 80 mph blacked out wrong way on the freeway. The driver exited the freeway, and California Highway Patrol (CHP) units initiated a pursuit. The chase ended at 11409 San Fernando Road. CHP is investigating the incident.
