"Hello, everyone. I'm Jack from France and I'm currently studying Chinese at Guangxi Normal University. I've been living here for a few months now and I feel as relaxed as it is in my hometown. 
A day for locals starts with a bowl of rice noodles. I've come here to the rice noodle restaurant recommended by locals. Today I don't have class, so I've come with my e-bike to give it a try."

Getting around is very convenient here. Just by riding my electric bike, I can easily explore the attractions and sample the local cuisine. Now I'm gonna ride to a friend's home and try a local beverage.
Guilin is home to various ethnic minorities. And one of their drinks is called youcha, which translates to oil tea. It's also known as Chinese coffee. It's from the Yao people."

It's very unique. It feels like I'm drinking a soup, but it's very good. It's unique.
After enjoying youcha, I'm going to rent a shared bicycle and ride along Taohuajiang River. What I love most about Guilin is that I can enjoy the relaxation and tranquility brought by nature anytime. This place is called Lujiacun Village. There are coffee shops, guest houses and eco farms here. What attracts me the most is that you can also experience the fun of making tofu here."

"This is the Elephant Trunk Hill. What's crazy to me is we have a similar here in France. This really makes me feel like I'm at home. I love Guilin so much."
