A scary mass of clouds that looked like a tsunami hovering over a city was seen in Thailand.

Footage shows the wall cloud shaped like tidal waves about to engulf the area in Sisaket province on July 28.

The top and bottom of the weather phenomenon were white, giving it the illusion of foamy sea waves crashing.

Driver Su Per Armer, who saw the clouds from his car, said: ‘It looked beautiful and terrifying at the same time. It looked like a tsunami or the end of the world.'

A wall cloud is a large, lowered cloud formation that descends from the base of a thunderstorm. It is associated with severe thunderstorms and has a more rounded or cylindrical appearance. Its visible rotation indicates strong updrafts.
