On July 29, the Napasheriff requested the assistance of H-30 helicopter in a daring search and rescue operation for a lost hiker near Table Rock. Responding swiftly, H-30 deployed to the area and utilized night vision goggles to locate the hiker amidst challenging terrain that prevented a traditional landing.

Equipped with dual medics, H-30 executed a precise operation by deploying a medic to assess and brief the hiker, who reported no injuries but had become disoriented. While maintaining a stable hover, H-30 safely evacuated the hiker and transported him to the valley floor, where a deputy awaited to provide transportation to his vehicle.

Following the successful rescue, H-30 returned to retrieve their crew member and safely returned to base without further incident. The operation underscores the critical role of aerial search and rescue teams in swiftly and effectively responding to emergencies in rugged wilderness environments.
