A schoolgirl made a hilarious slideshow for her parents - explaining why they should buy her an iPad.

Kirin, 11, wanted the latest Apple iPad OS 18 device and created a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to help persuade her mother and father.

Footage shows Kirin opening the slideshow titled ‘Why I should get an iPad OS 18' in her bedroom in Roi Et province, Thailand, on July 28.

She said: ‘It has many features for students to use to study,' before pointing on the screen to elaborate the features.

The youngster also had a slide that explained the reasons why she needed an iPad OS 18.

At the end of the presentation, her final slide said: ‘These are all the reasons why you need to buy me an iPad OS 18. Thank you.'

Her father, Piyachet Chatuten, said: 'My daughter had been asking for it for a long time. She was told no before, and one day, she showed the presentation. We sat down and listened.'

Apple has been praised in Thailand in recent days for an advert called 'Out of Hours' that showed a positive side to the country, generously portraying the country as more modern than it actually is.
