USA: Major Delays Expected Following Semi Rollover Collision on EB Interstate 90
Seattle, USA - July 31, 2024
A serious incident on Eastbound Interstate 90 near the interchange to Interstate 405 caused significant traffic disruptions in the early morning of July 31. A semi-truck rollover collision has blocked the right two lanes, prompting authorities to issue warnings of extensive delays for commuters in the area.
Emergency responders are currently on the scene, working to extricate the driver from the vehicle. Thankfully, initial reports indicate the driver is alert and conscious despite the ordeal.
Shortly after, authorities confirmed that the driver has been successfully extricated from the wreckage and is expected to recover. However, due to the severity of the incident, an extended closure of lanes is anticipated. At present, only one lane is open for traffic, prompting officials to advise commuters to seek alternate routes wherever possible to avoid further congestion.
