United States: Shooting Victim Dropped Off at Fire Station

07/31/2024 11:20 pm (GMT-0700) | CHESTERFIELD SQUARE, LOS ANGELES – LAPD's 77th Division patrol units responded to LAFD Fire Station 66 for a shooting victim. The LAPD had also received a 911 call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon, according to the police department.
The victim had apparently been dropped off at the station in the 1900 block of West Slauson Avenue after being shot somewhere in the area of Gage and Normandie Avenues.
The victim was transported by LAFD paramedics directly from the fire station to a local hospital in unknown condition.
Brian Humphrey, spokesperson for the LAFD, told KNN that the victim was reported to be a young adult male per information from Station 66. The age of the victim is unknown.
The current condition of the shooting victim is also unknown, according to a spokesperson for the LAPD.
