Good Samaritans rescued an air conditioner installer fainting and hanging upside-down from a first-floor window in southern China.

The heroic video was filmed in Chenzhou City in Hunan Province on July 31.

A man, who was installing an air conditioner on the first floor, accidentally got his foot trapped in a security window, leaving him suspended upside down and unconscious.

Witnesses reported that the man, hanging head-first, quickly lost consciousness due to the prolonged and precarious position. Bystanders rushed to help but struggled to reach him because of the gap between the ladder and the trapped man.

At this critical moment, a passing delivery driver, Zhu Jianjun, a 38-year-old retired soldier from Yongxing County, stepped in. Without hesitation, Zhu climbed the ladder and supported the hanging man with his shoulder, buying precious time for the rescue efforts.

Thanks to Zhu's quick actions and the collective effort of the crowd, the man was eventually pulled to safety and was securely held onto the security window.

Firefighters arrived shortly after and safely rescued the man, who was then taken to the hospital for further treatment.
