An opera Aida fundraiser was held on Saturday in Amman, capital of Jordan, as part of the 5th edition of Amman Opera Festival.
The Amman Opera Festival is returning for the fifth edition for a good cause, according to Zeina Barhoum, Jordanian soprano and founder of the Amman Opera Festival.

"The proceeds of the Opera for the three nights will go through the Palestine International institute and I personally picked two programs that I would like to have the donations go to. The first program basically benefits orphaned children from the Gaza Strip, to be more specific. And the second program is scholarships to medical doctors to train, and private and public hospitals to attend to the medical needs of people in the Gaza Strip."
