Thousands of demonstrators marched through Berlin on August 3, 2024, to mark the fourth anniversary of the Querdenken movement's first nationwide protest in 2020. The demonstration began at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. The march proceeded through major streets in Berlin's City West district, including Kurfuerstendamm and Wittenbergplatz, before concluding at KlingelhoeferstraSse, where a large rally occurred. Berlin police were present in large numbers to monitor the situation and ensure public safety. Several people were detained during the day, particularly for displaying prohibited flags. The day's events reflected the continued social and political tensions surrounding the Querdenken movement, which initially emerged in response to COVID-19 restrictions but has since attracted diverse participants.

Interview with Harald, a protester at the protest:"I don't want us to actively participate in war-related disputes. Neither in Gaza nor in Ukraine. We have nothing to do with it. We should send diplomats, but no weapons. It's always the Americans who start wars somewhere, and not the Russians, not the Chinese, not the Germans. We are apparently willful allies who participate, even though the majority of those who live in Germany and have to pay taxes don't want conflicts, whether in Palestine, Gaza, or Ukraine. We need peace and nothing more."
