1. SOUNDBITE: Cristina Kirchner, former president of Argentina
“And here I ask you, but not only for the Venezuelan people, for the opposition, for democracy, for the legacy of Hugo Chávez himself, that the records be published, that the records be published, that is what we have to ask, that the records be published."

STORYLINE
Former President Cristina Kirchner reappeared this Saturday at an academic meeting in Mexico, where she analyzed the political and electoral reality of Latin America, in the context of the controversy that was generated in the region and the world by the results of the elections in Venezuela. In that context, the former president asked Nicolás Maduro to publish the voting records.

Until her intervention in the international course "Political and Electoral Reality of Latin America", organized by the National Institute of Political Training of Morena, the leader had not made any statement regarding the Venezuelan elections.

In that sense, she asked to "unite the utopia of Justice with the utopia of peace in the region: do not transfer any conflict to us. We will be the continent with the most inequality, but if we also have confrontations or become scenarios of global conflicts in the region, we are screwed."
