Workers climbed down a ladder to escape a burning factory building in southern China.

The video was filmed in Guangzhou City in Guangdong Province on August 5.

A fire erupted on the fifth floor of an eight-storey building with thick smoke billowing into the sky.

Multiple workers got trapped inside the building. Some sought refuge on the rooftop, while others attempted to escape using the exterior fire escape ladder.

In response to the sudden outbreak, the Guangzhou Fire and Rescue Department swiftly mobilized local firefighting units to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters immediately launched rescue operations, deploying high-pressure hoses to contain the flames and prevent further spread, while also using specialized equipment to evacuate those trapped inside.

After nearly three hours of intense efforts, by approximately 9:30 p.m., the fire was successfully extinguished, and all individuals were safely evacuated, with no reported casualties.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

8月5日18时10分，广州市花都区狮岭葛岗社集益路65-1号一栋8层高的建筑内，位于4楼的厂房突发火灾。现场火势猛烈，浓烟滚滚，情况十分危急。据目击者拍摄的视频显示，火灾发生时，多人被困在建筑内，部分人员选择站在建筑顶层避险，而另一部分人则沿着建筑外墙的室外爬梯向下逃生。

面对突如其来的火情，广州市消防救援支队迅速响应，立即调派辖区内的消防救援力量赶赴现场进行处置。消防人员到达后，立即展开救援行动，一方面利用高压水枪对火势进行压制，防止火势进一步蔓延；另一方面，利用云车等专业工具对被困人员进行解救疏散。

经过近三个小时的紧张救援，截至当晚21时30分许，明火已被成功扑灭，被困人员也全部安全疏散，无人员伤亡。目前，火灾的具体原因正在进一步调查中。
