A baby hilariously fell asleep at the start of a crawling race with other youngsters at a mall fair.

The eight-month-old Tungonh joined other kids at the fun activity where they were supposed to reach the finish line at the end of the soft mat in Nonthaburi province, Thailand, on August 4.

However, Tungonh dozed off right at the starting line while the other babies sat down refusing to move forward as they were distracted with people.

Footage shows Tungonh taking a nap in the middle of the crowd. One boy on his right sat down observing spectators while a girl on the far left was playing with her hat.

Another kid on his left was ready to crawl but would not move as she seemed confused.

Onlooker Natchanan Saengkaew who attended the Baby and Kids fair said: 'The little boy fell asleep during the crawling contest. They were all so cute.'
