This is the moment a speeding cyclist was left seemingly dead - wedged on the windscreen of the car after a collision at a busy intersection with the woman driver screaming in horror inside.

The accident occurred when the cyclist riding downhill on Laoshan Road, in the city of Qingdao, in Shandong, China, at excessive speed, failed to observe his surroundings and collided with a moving car on Tuesday, July 30.

The contact threw him and his cycle off course, catching them on the car's bonnet. The car sustained a large dent and the windshield was damaged.

Eyewitness Mr Yan reported that bystanders quickly assisted in rescuing the man from the bonnet and took him to a hospital.

The preliminary examination revealed no serious injuries.
