This is a moment a little girl whose head became stuck in a glass door while playing with a ball decided to go to sleep as she waited for firemen to rescue her.

The youngster attempted to slip through a narrow gap but was stuck at the building entrance in Kaifeng City, in China's Henan Province, on Monday, July 29.

Two dog walkers observed the situation and promptly notified her parents while calling fire rescue personnel.

Upon arrival, the team implemented protective measures to ensure safety and utilised a hydraulic expander to free the girl.

Remarkably, she remained sound asleep throughout the entire rescue operation.

Once freed, the girl was checked for any injuries and reunited with her parents, who expressed relief at her safe return.
