Due to prevailing SWly winds the toxic algae has been blown to the N/NE of Lough Neagh turning the lough green, now the algae has spread upwind along the rivers, specifically the famous River Bann near the town of Toome, the green can even be seen passing below Toomebridge. This is drone footage taken today, it smells really bad and poses health risks to humans and deadly to pets.
