A tourist asked a Chinese customer to lower his voice after he spoke loudly on the phone at a Thai massage shop.

Footage shows the foreigner using hand gestures to explain to another man that he was being loud at Chanee Massage and Spa Shop in Bangkok, Thailand on August 1.

A masseuse from the shop said they had asked him to be more aware of the other customers but were ignored.

However, the Chinese man was defiant and allegedly told staff that if the other tourist would still get a massage, he would leave.

Eventually, the loud customer left the spa shop while the foreigner stayed.

Shop owner Arisara Suwannakijkul said: 'We were recording a video to use as promotional content on our social media.

‘While doing so, a Chinese tourist and a Western man had a confrontation after the former made a phone call with a loud voice. He said he would not get a massage anymore and walked out of the shop.'
