The marmot, initially taken to Greenwood Wildlife Rehab Center just before evacuation orders were issued, found a safe haven amid the wildfire crisis.
"We were thrilled to give this marmot a second chance," remarked a CPW spokesperson, emphasizing the importance of wildlife rescue efforts during natural disasters.
