The third CHAGFORD FILM FESTIVAL starts on Monday 23rd September. This small town situated on Dartmoor in Devon was described by Tom Hooper (Director of "The King’s Speech") as hosting “the best small film festival in the world”.

The festival, which offers a variety of films, talks and workshops, runs until Saturday 28th September.

Tony Hawks – TV and Radio 4 comedian and best-selling author – will open the proceedings and he features in the first film to be screened, the hilarious "Playing the Moldovans at Tennis".

Interview with professional harpist Elizabeth-Jane Baldry who, apart from being heavily involved in setting up the festival, will be providing the harp accompaniment to a screening of the silent 1922 "Nosferatu", the iconic film of German expressionist cinema and the first ever screen adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
