Police in Palmhurst, Texas, rescued a cat with its head stuck in a cup.

Body camera footage shows the distressed cat jumping and behaving erratically as it tries to free itself from the cup, following a report received by the Palmhurst Police Department's Communications Center about a cat wandering the streets with a cup stuck on its head.

Given the uncertainty of how long the feline had been struggling in the heat and limited visibility, immediate action was essential.

With the help of the police, the cat, humorously referred to as 'Jar Jar,' was rescued and successfully freed from its predicament.

Following the rescue, Jar Jar was transported to the Palm Valley Animal Society for a medical evaluation.
