China: Curious Baby Plays with Giant Cicada and Attempts to Eat It
Fuzhou, China - July 10, 2024
A baby was seen playing with a large cicada, showing no fear and instead displaying great curiosity. After examining the cicada with both hands, the baby then proceeded to put it into his mouth.
This footage was filmed by Ms. Hu, in Linchuan, Fuzhou, Jiangxi, at 3:36 pm, on July 10, 2024.
The person filming quickly dropped the camera to rescue the struggling insect. One commenter pointed out that this is classic behavior for young children: examining unfamiliar objects with both hands before eventually putting them into their mouths.
