A brown and yellow dog braved the persistent light rain, which had begun in the morning, to wait outside the home of another dog named Heixiong, a small black female dog.

The video was filmed in Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province on September 11.

Despite getting soaked, the visiting dog remained sitting upright at the doorstep, refusing to leave. When Heixiong's owner noticed the devoted visitor, she let Heixiong out, and, at her urging, the two dogs reunited with slight awkwardness but soon resumed their playful antics.
