China: Unexpected Fierce Tidal Surge

On the banks of the Qiantang River, due to the influence of Typhoon Gaemi, the tidal bore at the Old Salt Warehouse was unusually fierce, soaking a large crowd.
This footage was filmed by Mr. Qian, in Chang‘an, Haining, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, at 3:25 pm, on July 25, 2024.
The uploader reminds people, “On typhoon days, never go near the embankment to watch the tidal bore. Personal safety must come first.”
