STORYLINE:
Renowned world art floral exhibition Fleurs de Villes has returned to Sydney for the third time with the new show VOYAGE.
15 breathtaking floral mannequins and installations representing destinations worldwide are on display, offering a cultural odyssey through flowers.
SOUNDBITE 1 (English): TINA BARKLEY, Co-founder, Fleurs de Villes
"Everyone loves flowers. And I think it's such a universal passion. Everyone is happy when they're around flowers. So we love to bring joy to people through flowers."
SOUNDBITE 2 (English): TINA BARKLEY, Co-founder, Fleurs de Villes
"We have 15 mannequins on display here from Japan to New Zealand, to Italy, Portugal, and of course a beautiful Chinese mannequin. We've got a dragon. What they're trying to do is really bring that destination to life and this particular florist has chosen biodiversity. So they're really trying to show some of the flora and fauna from China, like the red panda and different creatures which you'll find if you look around. You find all sorts of different creatures that are known to be found in China."
Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Sydney, Australia.
